They say there's a fine line between love and hate.
There is.
I fell in love with a monster.
He used me. He destroyed me. He made a fool out of me.
I didn’t know it at the start. You never do.
You think you have found the man of your dreams. You think nothing could break you apart.
How wrong you are.
I loved Marcus Tandem with everything that was me.
To him, I was just a business deal, a way to keep something he’d worked hard for.
He never had any intentions of returning my affections.
He never wanted me in his life.
But I wanted him in mine.
When you fall in love with the devil, you expect to get burned.
Marcus burned me. He consumed me. He devastated me.
Somewhere inside, I knew he was no good. I just prayed having me in his life might be enough.
I hold onto that small hope, that maybe, just maybe, somewhere deep down in his soul, he might love me too.
Someday.
Contains Adult Content. Series ends with HEA. Only Two Parts.

It's player meet stupid. The story is written in the Now and Then from both POVs. I don't like the now and then chapters, it's confusing. Hard to stay focused. It's an erotic story told from Katia's perspective about the sexual encounters with Marcus. Katia is a shallow character who is obsessed with Marcus's looks and his appetite for sex.
Where did the strong-will-powered woman go? In the beginning she knew Marcus was not worth her time and now she's putty. Why is a man like Marcus put on a pedestal to begin with? He is a player who treats women like trash. Why would any woman be pleased to tame the trash man?
Weak pathetic Katia is only concerned with what Marcus can do to her body.
Women like Katia using sex as payment is why men like Marcus use women to begin with.
Using women to gain a business is not a rewarding feeling for a woman. Marcus does not deserve the love Katia gives him. Even when he starts to feel love for Katia he still does not deserve it.
It takes almost losing her and another woman claiming him to make Marcus realize what he has.
Funniest line in the whole story is when Marcus declares he is falling in love with his wife.
Did not care for the storyline and the writing centered on sex. Not much substance other than sex.

--to see How Marcus handles having emotions that have him thinking about someone other them himself and too see how it effects him to see what he did too Katia that may have turned her into a bitter hateful soul like him seems to think he is or did it really set her free like he thinks it can or did it cause way too much damage to a heart that was so full of life, that it in fact just might have destroyed it ??? <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
"Such a beautiful, f*** ed-up man. Such a waste of perfection."
The `Til Death duet must be read in order
Part 1 'Til Death, Volume I
Part 2 'Til Death, Volume II
`Til Death (book 1) is the story of a deceptive marriage set-up between business owner and potential heir Marcus Tandem and struggling personal assistant Katia Bennett-Tandem.
It's prompted by the death of Marcus' grandfather. The will clearly states that Marcus must be married to inherit the business that he has been running for the past 10 years.
Katia has no knowledge of the will and thinks this incredible sexy, hot, one-night-stand has gone from player to ready-to-settle down and is pursuing her relentlessly. But after their marriage she realizes he doesn't love her....
The story is told in dual POV alternating between the past, the development of their marriage and present time when everything is put on the line. There are other stipulations and of course greedy villains, jealous exes and other seedy business associates to complicate matters...
"He makes me forgive him with his mouth between my legs.
Then with his c*** deep inside me.
And I go right back to where I started."
MARCUS TANDEM 30 years/Business heir/$$$$/Black hair/Brown-black eyes/Tattoo/Piercings.
Seven words to describe Marcus Tandem Conflicted, closed-off, determined, ruthless, deceptive, caring and self-destructive.
"Love is for the weak. Women are too difficult and I'm too much of an a$$hole."
KATIA BENNETT-TANDEM 20-25 years/Assistant/Blond hair/Green eyes.
At times I felt Katia Bennett-Tandem showed me two very opposite personalities. I adored the care-free, vivacious, elusive and very charismatic side of her I couldn't relate as well to the insecure, love-struck side.
Seven words to describe Katia Captivating, easy-going, private, observant, good-natured, helpless and impressionable.
`Til death is a fast paced sexy and tumultuous read. From the onset we know that Katia has been misled, but yet the story managed to capture and keep me guessing. That said I felt torn between conflicting personalities for both Marcus and Katia and the plot seemed disjointed at times and a bit overloaded with millionaires, bikers and criminals, but some of that will probably clarify itself with the unfolding of part 2, 'Til Death, Volume II and the conclusion of their story!
Awesome book cover! Steamy sex scenes! On-your-toes roller-coaster! Book 2 has much explaining to do! Just shy of 4 stars!
"I knew the moment I entered Marcus's world that he was going to take my soul and likely crush it."
